Parasitismo de Pnigalio sp. Schrank (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) sobre Phyllocnistis citrella Stainton (Lepidoptera: Phyllocnistidae) en cítricos del área metropolitana de Sevilla.

RESUMEN

Pnigalio sp. Schrank (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) puede considerarse el parasitoide más importante de Phyllocnistis citrella Stainton en las zonas citrícolas de la provincia de Sevilla, donde ha llegado a alcanzar una especial relevancia como agente auxiliar. Se han estudiado los niveles de parasitismo alcanzados por Pnigalio sp. sobre cada unos de los estadios del minador, diferenciándose entre haz y envés de las hojas afectadas por éste. Entre los resultados obtenidos destacan: la ausencia de parasitismo en la fase L1; el mayor porcentaje de parasitismo en las fases larvarias L2-L3 frente a las fases prepupa-pupa. El nivel medio de parasitismo ha sido de 13,2%, apareciendo un mayor porcentaje de individuos parasitadas en el haz.
